I find researching really easy if I know what I am looking
for, and if I am able to find answers to what I am looking for. I know
researching is very useful, and at times can be very frustrating. I feel like
researching is one of those things that can go your way at times, and in other
situations it may be one of the longest process ever, that is why I intend to
narrow my research so I am able to find exactly what I need to make my issue
paper persuasive and very informative so I can sound like an authoritative source.
I have been able to research my topic and I have found many
peer reviewed, and scholarly articles and journals that will be able to help me
prove my argument. I think one of the things I will probably struggle with is
making a voice for my paper, and making it persuasive enough for my audience.
Of the things I have researched, I have been able to save and bookmark them all
so I can find them easily again. Every key word I have searched for I have
noted and kept record of so I can just focus and stay on topic.
One of the things that I worry a lot a bout with writing
long paper like this one, is my thinking. I usually have a lot of scattered
thoughts, and since we will be required to write so long of a paper, I feel
like I will just be so scattered that all the time I spend will just not be as
effective as I thought it was.
Things I want to change about my research process is to have
a main focus and not to do so much research in long periods of time, but take
my research step by step and little by little so I can be effective and just
keep my paper fresh, and not make it sound so much like a drag. I have noticed
in essays I tend to rush at the end, and don’t make an effective concluding
paragraph that my essay doesn’t end on a good note.
